The NEPTUN system as a new technology for Invasive Carp removal during spring migrations
In spring 2020 on the Rice Creek river in Minnesota the NEPTUN system was tested as the new technology for removing Common Carp during spawning migrations.
Installation of the NEPTUN system and a biometric fish monitoring station in project name “Restoration of wildlife corridor in the Łupawa River by constructing a fish ladder” in the Smołdzino Barrage on the Łupawa river.

On June 4 an article was published in The New York Times describing methods of fighting carp in the Minnesota lakes.
One of the methods described was the use of the NEPTUN system. Our system, helped remove more than a third of the 15,000 carps in one lake.
